Via Bregaglia from Chiavenna to Maloja

2. Historical itinerary at the bottom of the valley
A historical route which develops through one of the most beautiful alpine valleys and which presents, along the itinerary, numerous historical and natural monuments. An example could be the Renaissance mansion Palazzo Vertemate Franchi, the natural monument of the Cascate dell'Acquafraggia, the Romanesque churches of San Martino in Aurogo and the Rotonda, then finally the co-operative presses of Villa di Chiavenna and Santa Croce.

3. Panoramic itinerary of Bregaglia
A path cut into the mountainside, on the orographic right of Prosto, nearby the Palazzo Vertemate towards Savogno and across the Cascate dell'Acquafraggia. Connection between Italy and Switzerland, with the itinerary at an altitude between Soglio and Savogno. The stretch between Soglio and Casaccia is relaxing because the route in flat with a few ups and downs. It offers numerous views of the valley and of the surrounding mountains (Pizzi Sciora, Pizzo Badile).
